holiday season 2007
Well, officially our holiday season started with the traditional tree lighting ceremony in front of our hotel, with over 2000 expected guests. at the same time we had the usual owners reception for 300 guests, the hotels VIP clients reception and a few other events. Crazy busy and no end in sight for the next few weeks. Needless to say, everything went pretty smooth. We just wish that our RATIONAL combi oven would have been installed already
RATIONAL Combi Oven SCC 202G
Today we received our 5th RATIONAL combi-oven. Hard to believe but it is true, I a little over 2 years, we are now up to one SCC101G, one SCC102G and now our third SCC202G. There are barely any of these old convection ovens left. Now nobody in our kitchen can imagine working without them. This wasn’t always like that. I lively remember the time when I purchased the first unit, and the huge eyes staring at me with a look of disbelieve. I could read each and everybody’s mind :” why the hell is chef buying that modern oven, that looks more like a computer and how the hell do you operate this?”
Well we are over that, and here it is. Now we have to wait for engineering to install it.
